The field office for the Worth Street rehab project was in this super fancy office building at Church & Worth where everyone else was like a lawyer or an architect. And they were the nastiest set of bathroom ruiners I've ever encountered

as TheTuckster himself once told me when he worked as a janitor, "some people think god can't see what you do in there"

anybody else rank bathrooms at work based on which are the most/least morally justifiable to use? like obviously given a free wheelchair accessible stall and a non-accessible stall you gotta go with the skinny one. But I'm also like, I don't think I'm allowed to use the big gender neutral private bathroom unless it's an emergency and all the other ones are taken. am I good person

it's ridiculous that workplaces haven't implemented real policy/structure to handle these issues. back in the day, folks used to just sit around and shit together peaceably, now it's mayhem
used to have an office housed in a law firm that had two floors - six bathrooms available to women only - all of the lawyers would brush their teeth after lunch (very sweet bonding moment) and yet nobody ever established that shitting and toothbrushing should be segregated activities (whether by time, place, or both)
though I did work somewhere with a designated crying bathroom, which is kind of wretched but at least everyone had enough grace to not stink up the place where folks were going to go to cry and try to run the numbers on whether or not they could quit (I lasted about five trips to the crying bathroom before I went to work with the poop-toothed lawyers)
(if you think this is oddly lengthy, just wait until I feel less shy and start in on Talmudposting)
